WHO AM I?

Christelle Lauret, PhD

Coach, researcher, author, I have explored human behaviours and what prevents us from being fully connected to our best self for the last 20 years. What has meaning, bring us joy and peace? What is necessary for us to contribute in an optimum way whether at work or at home? What can help us have better relationships?

This exploration started with my own journey. I was amazed at how my brain could be such a strong ally and at the same time be a real obstacle to my true potential. For example, what prevented me from fully embracing my role as a leader when I started my management career? What made it impossible for me to connect easily with some people and not others? Or why didn’t I know what truely mattered to me, whether in my professional or personal life?

I then discovered the amazing capacity for change our brain has: through coaching and other practices, I developed a much more powerful – and benevolent – leadership style thus allowing me to contribute to the performance and well-being of my teams, even in times of crisis. I learned to develop self-confidence, assertiveness and self-awareness thus allowing me to be more aligned with myself and others. This discovery that I could change in such a way led to the profound desire to share this knowledge and help people be, act and interact more effectively.

As a result I developed a coaching approach inspired by my 10 years experience in research and management, but also my 10 years of meditative pratice and 20 years of personal development.

  • Responsible for the effectiveness assessment of the current training programme and identification of improved learning solutions (designed and implemented a Learning Needs Analysis and a satisfaction survey across Pfizer Global R&D (>10,000 employees)
  • Coaching of employees facing redundancy
  • Conducted a Learning Organisation audit of Pfizer Animal Health R&D UK identifying key enablers and blockers to the learning culture and devised an action plan offering collaborative learning solutions.

I also participate in peer group discussions with other coaches, and attend conferences and other trainings to further my development, in France and abroad. This allows me to bring the latest and most innovative tools and practices to my clients.
